The story goes like this...
Santa is too busy to keep an eye on everyone in the lead up to Christmas so he sends an elf to each family in December to keep on eye on things for him. The elf is magic and can not be touched or he'll lose his magic!! He uses the magic each night to transport himself back to the North Pole and report in to Santa on the families behavior! Every morning he returns to a different spot. When the elf arrives you have to give him a name.
Our elf arrived for the first time last year it was named by Joselyn as "Elfie" no matter how many times I tried to change it to "Jingle Bells" but we were really into him last year anyway... This year was an entirely different story and I've got to say I was sad to say goodbye!
It really contributed to making our Christmas even more magical!
